My current research focuses on the ideas, intellectual context, and influence of Daniel Sennert, a professor of medicine at the University of Wittenberg, one of the first to introduce the study of chymistry to the university curriculum, and an early supporter of atomism.

+Chymistry of Isaac Newton Lab Work

In addition to my dissertation research, I continue to work part-time on the Chymistry of Isaac Newton Project. Recently, I synthesized several mineral acids using methods described by Isaac Newton in several of his chymical manuscripts.
